Favour timeline — who owns each window

StageFavouredWhy
Level 1JayceI take Shock Blast first and out-range his walk-up CS with a free gate-Q before his small early HP pool gives An Acquired Taste any grey health to work with.
Level 2JayceHaving both Q and Acceleration Gate makes the gate-Q full-range and the Mercury Cannon swap shreds his Armor/MR on first hit — this is my hardest favour window and where I bank a health lead.
Level 3Tahm KenchAt 3 his Tongue Lash slows-then-stuns me and stacks his passive toward a Devour while the grey health regenerates my poke, so my chip stops converting to a real lead.
Levels 4-5Tahm KenchHis grey health scales and out-sustains my poke in any extended trade — I can no longer chip him down the way I do an immobile juggernaut.
Level 6JayceHis R (Abyssal Voyage) is a long-range roam channel, not a combat spike, so my gate-Q into a Hammer-swap Q-W-E all-in with the Thundering Blow knockback still wins the straight duel.
First itemTahm KenchHis first defensive item plus grey health let him eat the accelerated orb, and a three-stack Devour answers my committed burst — the poke margin collapses here.
Two+ itemsTahm KenchFull drain-tank online: only max-HP Thundering Blow still hurts him, and his resists and grey-health sustain out-last my squishy, low-defense frame.

Early game (levels 1–5)

Levels 1-2 are mine — I take Shock Blast first and gate-poke his step-ups before he has a real HP pool for An Acquired Taste to convert into grey health, and the Mercury Cannon swap shreds his Armor/MR the moment he walks up to last-hit. The catch is the clock: the second he hits 3 his Tongue Lash slows-then-stuns me and starts stacking his passive toward a Devour, while that grey health regenerates my poke faster than I can re-stack it. So I front-load damage at 2, never auto-walk into Tongue Lash range, and I keep Hextech Capacitor's swap move-speed up to dodge the tongue.
