Trundle's whole early game is landing his Q bite to steal your AD, so respect that one cast and trade around it. At levels 1-3 you out-range him hard: poke with the Q bird-ball, blind his auto windows, and use Harrier resets to win every short exchange before he can stack drain. Dodge his E pillar in lane so he can't wall you off, and don't sit in his W speed zone where he closes the gap.
