How to win lane as Quinn against Sylas · 54.87% win rate (842 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Bait his key tool — blind his Abscond / Abduct and kite the all-in apart.
Track: Sylas's E — Abscond / Abduct (13–9s cooldown). His dash + stun (recast pull). Bait it, then commit.
Read from Quinn's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Sylas.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Quinn | You own level 1 outright — your range and Harrier auto-resets punish a melee Sylas who has no E to close yet. |
| Level 2 | Quinn | W steroid online: your attack speed plus the blind on his Petricite Burst autos wins every short trade. |
| Level 3 | Quinn | Full Q-W-E combo lets you stack blind, Vault-knockback and a Harrier proc to dominate his short-range drain. |
| Levels 4-5 | Quinn | Your Q cooldown drops and you convert the lead into plates while dodging his E stun with your own Vault. |
| Level 6 | Quinn | R is roam pressure, not dueling — shove and take over the map while his R steal has no strong target. |
| First item | Quinn | Your lethality/crit first-item spike still beats his first AP item — force the all-in before his sustain compounds. |
| Two+ items | Sylas | He outscales hard: Q/W drain-heal and E chain-dash let him outlast and lock down a squishy Quinn at two items. |
Sylas has to walk into melee range to land his Q/W drain, and that is exactly where your Harrier kit eats him alive. Mark up, Q-blind him as he steps in so his auto and the on-hit drain damage miss, then E-Vault for the knockback and a refreshed Harrier proc. The one thing to respect is his E chain-dash stun — save your own E Vault to dodge the second cast rather than burning it to engage. Pre-6 he has no real answer to your range plus blind.
