How to win lane as Quinn against Sion · 52.62% win rate over 534 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Quinn | You already own range and Harrier resets — Sion's only level-1 tool is a slow charged Q you can blind or sidestep. |
| Level 2 | Quinn | Your W move-speed steroid lets you kite his charge while you poke; he has no answer to the range gap. |
| Level 3 | Quinn | With Q-W-E online you blind his knockup and E in for a Harrier reset before his W shield rotation is back. |
| Levels 4-5 | Quinn | Long Sion cooldowns plus your kite mean you convert trades into plates and a shove while he is still melee and slow. |
| Level 6 | Quinn | R gives you roam tempo he can't match — he's immobile and stuck shoving while you take over the side. |
| First item | Quinn | Your lethality/crit spike and roam still beat a pre-tank Sion — force every all-in on his Q cooldown now. |
| Two+ items | Sion | Sion outscales hard: full tank stats, the charged Q knockup, and his zombie passive flip the duel — end before then. |
Sion is slow, melee, and his only real threat is the fully-charged Q knockup — and you can just blind it with your bird ball (Q) so the auto and the channel matter less, then walk away. Harrier marks plus your range let you out-trade him at every level: poke him while he charges, and if he commits the Q, side-step it or blind him and E in for a free Harrier reset. Don't sit in his minions when his W shield is up — the E shield-break is a chunk of poke — but his cooldowns are long and he can't catch you.
