How to win lane as Neeko against Yone · 72.41% win rate over 29 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | Neither of you has a combo at 1, but his Q dash makes him the aggressor — concede it and farm at Q range. |
| Level 2 | Neeko | Your second Q point gives you poke he can't match yet, and his W cleave alone doesn't out-trade it. |
| Level 3 | Neeko | Q+E lets you root him out of his Q dash and re-bloom Q on top — your first real punish window. |
| Levels 4-5 | Neeko | You out-waveclear and out-poke a Yone who won't all-in without R; trade when his E-rewind is down. |
| Level 6 | Neeko | Pop Blossom turns a landed E into a kill — ult unseen via disguise/clone so he can't rewind out. |
| First item | Neeko | Your Liandry's/Blackfire AoE burst spike outpaces his first item; force every pick here. |
| Two+ items | Yone | Crit/on-hit Yone with two E charges and R knockup pins you and outlasts your one rotation — he scales past you. |
Level 1 you have no combo, so don't contest — last-hit with the edge of Q and respect that his Q dash lets him close instantly. The lane turns at 3 when Q+E come online: he telegraphs his all-in with the Q dash, so hold Tangle-Barbs until he commits and root him out of the dash, then re-bloom Q on top for a clean chunk. Never throw E first into open ground — a whiffed root and he's on you with W spirit-cleave stacks.
