Level 1 is genuinely even — neither of us has a combo, and my Q (Blooming Burst) re-bloom punishes him if he hides behind the caster minions to last-hit, so trade Q for his Q/W poke and don't overextend. From level 3 he takes over: my E (Tangle-Barbs) is one telegraphed line and his E grapple swing dodges it on reaction, so don't throw it as your opener or you'll whiff and eat free Q/W poke. Hold E as a counter-engage, farm with Q, and respect that his camouflage means he can vanish and reset the poke. Don't walk up to CS into his auto range.
