How to win lane as Kassadin against Camille · 43.91% win rate (419 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
She dives, you can't answer yet — give the lane and steal the game at three items.
Track: Camille's E — Hookshot (16–12s cooldown). Her wall-dash stun — fight away from terrain while it is up.
Read from Kassadin's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Camille.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | Camille is a weak level-1 too, but so am I with only Null Sphere and no escape — deny her last-hits and set up a safe lane. |
| Level 2 | Camille | Her Tactical Sweep heals off its outer half and Hookshot is online - she out-trades my mana-starved Q, so I farm and step inside the cone. |
| Level 3 | Camille | Full kit and I'm still helpless — Force Pulse only charges when spells fly, and any all-in ends with me stunned against a wall. |
| Levels 4-5 | Camille | The weather-the-storm window: I Q the wave from range and track her Hookshot so it doesn't kill me before Riftwalk comes online. |
| Level 6 | Camille | Even with Riftwalk my blink-trades only work on her 16-second Hookshot - commit while it is up and the wall knock-up chains me dead. |
| First item | Camille | Catalyst into Rod of Ages turns my survival into stats, but her duelist item spike still edges the straight fight — I trade, not all-in. |
| Two+ items | Kassadin | Stacked Riftwalk lets me blink onto squishies and never get caught, while her late falls behind mine if I dodge her R isolation. |
Levels 1-3 are the worst stretch of my game and Camille knows it - I have only Null Sphere, no escape, and my Q is mana-hungry and short while she has a wall knock-up (Hookshot) and a W cone (Tactical Sweep) that heals her off its outer half. If I step up to throw a Q, she hooks a wall, knocks me up and cashes a free all-in. When the cone fires I step toward her, not away, because the inner half neither slows nor heals. Last-hit from maximum range and keep the mana I need for Nether Blade.
