How to win lane as Gangplank against Quinn · 52.06% win rate over 436 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Quinn | Her Vault (E) knocks you back and resets to interrupt your keg setup, and you have no barrel poke yet to answer it. |
| Level 2 | Quinn | Harrier-marked empowered autos let her chunk you on every step-up while your Powder Keg cooldowns are long and your barrels easy to deny. |
| Level 3 | Quinn | She out-pokes you with Vault burst plus Heightened Senses kite before you have a second keg to chain-detonate from range. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Your second E point lets you Parrrley-detonate two chained kegs from outside Vault range, pulling the poke war back to even. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | Cannon Barrage adds zoning but she kites out of it with Heightened Senses, so level 6 is a wash rather than a power spike for you. |
| First item | Gangplank | Sheen into Trinity Force gives Parrrley an auto-attack reset so a chained keg detonation finally out-bursts her Harrier kite. |
| Two+ items | Gangplank | A two-item chained barrel detonation one-shots her squishy frame and Cannon Barrage zones her off every objective globally. |
Levels 1-3 are hers and you have to accept it. Her Vault (E) dashes in, knocks you back, and resets if it connects, so every keg you try to set up gets interrupted, and her Harrier passive marks you for a bonus-damage empowered auto she can land and kite away from before you answer. Do not try to trade — last-hit at max Parrrley (Q) range, never walk into Vault range to place a keg, and hold Remove Scurvy (W) to cleanse the Vault knockback effects and heal the poke back when she over-commits.
