Akali is energy-gated and has to walk into melee range to last-hit, so every time she steps up I tag her with Parrrley -- she pays HP for CS while I bank gold and Serpents toward my first keg. Her Twilight Shroud isn't worth burning on cooldown yet and her E-shuriken is her only gap-closer pre-6, so a barrel pre-placed on my side of the wave punishes any dash-in. I don't greed full trades into her; she out-damages me in a raw melee scrap, so I poke with Q, deny her CS, and refuse to be the one who walks up.
