Before Akali banks energy and gets Twilight Shroud at level 1 (she takes it on a delay if she opens Q), she has no untargetable escape from my Noxious Blast poison — I tag her every time she steps for a last-hit, and landing Q on her gives me the move-speed proc to walk her down for a free Twin Fang. Do NOT walk into her E shuriken range to throw a sloppy Q; bait the dash, sidestep behind the wave, and she's just an energy-starved melee eating poison ticks. Stack poison and make her shove-or-suffer before her kit comes online.
