Level 1 GP can already drop a Powder Keg and poke, so don't walk up to land a Q he can answer with a detonation — concede the level and last-hit at range. From 2 onward your passive double-shot and Q out-trade him in the windows where his barrels aren't chained: shoot the keg the moment he places it so it never explodes, then chip him with the boomerang and your second shot. The thing to dodge is the stacked keg — never trade standing next to two of them, and bait his W (Remove Scurvy) before you commit your all-in so it isn't up to cleanse your Heroic Swing follow-up.
