Shen owns the first three levels and you have to respect it. His W, Spirit's Refuge, blocks your empowered-passive autos, so the auto half of every trade whiffs — and every time you Q to last-hit, he Q-empowers his own autos to out-trade you and heal the poke right back. Your Q (Five Point Strike) still lands through W since it's a spell, but Q alone won't win a trade against his sustain. You have no Shroud until 2 and no R until 6, so don't walk up to contest — farm at the tip of your Q, lead with the spell and not the auto, and accept you're behind on stats. Save your dash; there's nothing to all-in here.
