Sion owns the first three levels here — his E (Roar of the Slayer) pokes you from range and shreds your magic resist while you're stuck farming in melee with only Q (Five Point Strike) and no Shroud yet to reset a trade. You also soak minion aggro as a melee in a ranged-tank lane. Do NOT walk into a fully-charged Q (Decimating Smash); the knockup is his entire kill setup and it is completely telegraphed, so sidestep the windup. Farm at max Q range, accept the E poke, and don't burn E (Shuriken Flip) trying to commit — you can't kill a Sion this early, and even a clean trade just lets his sustain and his eventual zombie passive reset the math.
