How to win lane as Quinn against Jayce · 57.33% win rate over 757 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Jayce | His cannon Q gate poke and E knockback out-range your Q blind ball before you ever reach Harrier-leap distance. |
| Level 2 | Jayce | His acceleration-gate Q keeps chipping you while you can't punish — the blind is useless against his ability poke. |
| Level 3 | Jayce | With full hammer-cannon access his E-knockback-into-burst combo beats any Vault you throw to trade. |
| Levels 4-5 | Jayce | He keeps shoving and poking you off the wave so you never get a clean Harrier-marked auto window. |
| Level 6 | Quinn | Your R refreshes Harrier and lets you scout-roam around an immobile Jayce to flank or pick him off the wave. |
| First item | Jayce | His Eclipse/Manamune spike lands hammer E into ranged Q burst that deletes you before your lethality matters. |
| Two+ items | Even / skill | With a Collector/Galeforce window you E the gap and Q-blind his hammer autos — genuinely even in a side-lane skirmish. |
Jayce just out-ranges everything I want to do early. His cannon Q comes through the acceleration gate before my Q blind ball even crosses the wave, and the blind does nothing to his ability poke since the damage is all Q/E, not autos. I can't trade-leap a Harrier auto when he sits a screen back chipping me. Farm at max range, dodge the slow Q ball with W move speed, and never walk up into E knockback range for a CS.
