How to win lane as Neeko against Trundle · 49.56% win rate · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Even / skill | You only have single-target Q and no combo; he has no engage either, so trade last-hits and deny his bite (Q) sustain windows. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | Second Q point gives a little poke but you still can't punish a sustain tank yet — chip and keep your mana for level 3. |
| Level 3 | Neeko | Q + E come online: root him with Tangle-Barbs and Q-bloom on top before his bite heals the trade back. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Without ult you can't kill through his sustain, and he can pillar (E) your approach — farm even and set up 6. |
| Level 6 | Neeko | Pop Blossom turns a landed E into a full stun-burst combo, unseen from a clone or invisible W — your best owning window before he tanks up. |
| First item | Even / skill | Your Liandry's/Blackfire spike helps in fights, but his pillar and bite keep the 1v1 a coin-flip — group instead of dueling. |
| Two+ items | Trundle | His R steals your resists and heals a percent of his HP, outlasting your single rotation — full-item Trundle reclaims the duel. |
Trundle is a drain-tank who wants to bite (Q) you and sustain through everything, so the early game is about chip, not all-ins. Levels 1-2 you only have single-target Q value — last-hit at max Q range and pre-bloom him when he steps to CS, but don't facecheck a trade he just heals back. At 3 you get Tangle-Barbs (E): root him in the line and immediately Q-bloom on top — that's your first real window before his sustain snowballs, but respect that he can drop his pillar (E) to wall off your approach.
