Swain is an immobile mage who has to walk into Q range to farm, so levels 1-3 I lean on what kites him: Blooming Blows sweetspots stack my move speed while the outer-edge hit chips, and an E Swirlseed slow pins him flat so the Dream Dust burn starts ticking. The one thing that ruins my day is his E pull — if Nevermove lands it roots me and the whole W-bomb-Q-poke rotation lands on a body that can't run, and I have no defensive button. So I poke from the edge, never hug the wave inside his E range, and respect that his Q out-ranges my short hops.
