Levels 1-3 are actually my window here, even though the lane is hard overall. At level 1 I just farm with the Q edge from range, but by 2-3 I layer the Q sweetspot with the E Swirlseed slow and start the Dream Dust burn, and the stacking move speed from Q keeps me drifting just out of his short Q poke. Akshan has no E grapple swing reset yet to fully kite me, so punish any step-up: slow him with E, chip with the sweetspot, and let the DoT tick. Don't whiff Q hops into nothing or you hand him free Q/W poke on a body with no defensive button.
