The danger is his W taunt: never throw your E-in when his W is up, because it locks you mid-dash and tanks your remount damage behind that shield. Bait the W or fight when it's down, then land Q (Bear Trap on a Rope) to stick the slow, yank yourself in, and run the re-E (E through, W shotgun shots, E back, Q reactivate). His MR isn't stacked yet, so your percent-HP Q and on-hit shots out-trade him cleanly through Levels 2-3.
