How to win lane as Kayle against Quinn · 52.73% win rate over 220 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Quinn | Quinn owns level 1 — her Harrier-marked autos and ranged poke beat your short melee-range autos with almost no counterplay, so just touch CS and survive. |
| Level 2 | Quinn | Her E Vault knocks you back and nearsights you, shutting down any level-2 trade, and you have no dash to stick to her — concede the level. |
| Level 3 | Quinn | Still melee-range at level 3 with only Q and one W point, you get poked and Harrier-kited whenever you walk up — farm safe and hold HP for 6. |
| Levels 4-5 | Kayle | Levels 4-5 stabilize as W sustain and Q's Armor/MR shred come online; you heal the poke off and reach your spike on even CS, tilting the lane your way. |
| Level 6 | Kayle | Level 6 flips it: Divine Ascent gives ranged AoE auto-waves and R grants full invulnerability, so you finally out-range her poke and survive her all-in. |
| First item | Kayle | First item turns Nashor's attack speed plus E missing-health waves into real ranged DPS that out-trades her flat poke from a safe distance. |
| Two+ items | Kayle | She's finite and you're not — at 2+ items your ranged AoE E waves under R invuln out-scale and out-range her front-loaded kit completely. |
Levels 1-3 are some of your weakest in the game and Quinn is built to abuse exactly this. Your autos are short melee range while her Harrier passive marks you for bonus damage and gives her nimble move speed to kite, and her E Vault dashes in, knocks you back, and nearsights you so you can't even see to retaliate. You cannot win an extended exchange and you can't catch her once she pulls away. Do not walk up to throw a Q (Radiant Blast) you can't follow up — just last-hit at Q range or under tower and eat the chip. Burn nothing chasing; she'll Vault over it and Harrier-kite away. Your only job here is to not die and not fall so far behind that you can't farm at 6.
