His W heal-zone lets him out-sustain you and brawl indefinitely, and his Q bite even shaves a little of your attack damage on each trade — brutal when your whole kit rides on autos that are still melee and weak this early. Do NOT walk into auto range to fight him. Concede CS at melee range, last-hit with Q poke from max distance, eat a little chip, and just survive. You have no answer to his sustain until your passive goes ranged at 6.
