Level 1 you only have Q and no stun, so don't commit to a fight you can't finish — last-hit with Bladesurge off low minions and respect that his W (Kingslayer) heals back any trade he wins. With W (Defiant Dance) up at 2 you can channel its damage reduction through his Q chain-lash detonation to cut the burst, but your real swing is level 3: E places the two blades, stun him between them, then Bladesurge-reset off the marked target to land your full combo. Don't burn E to chase if he Abscond-dashes out of the stun line — without it you have no kill pressure here.
