He pokes and kites you — build MR, proc vitals when his E is down.
Track: Kennen's E — Lightning Rush (10–6s cooldown). His escape. Out-duel when it’s down.
Read from Fiora's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Kennen.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Fiora | You're one of the best level-1 duelists and Kennen has only single Q poke and no move-speed steroid yet — your Q-Vital chip wins the short trade. |
| Level 2 | Fiora | Your Q-Vital true-damage poke plus the looming threat of Riposte beats his single-target shuriken before his energy economy or stun matter. |
| Level 3 | Fiora | Q into E (Bladework) gives you a guaranteed-crit Vital all-in he can't kite or stun yet — your hardest pre-6 window. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | He gains passive move speed and a fuller Q+W poke to peel away, so it's a skill check whether you pin him for the Lunge chain. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | His R is an AOE Mark-of-the-Storm stun tool, not a duel button — save Riposte for the stun and the lane stays even; eat it raw and it swings to him. |
| First item | Even / skill | Ravenous Hydra keeps your all-in lethal, but his Liandry's lets him poke you down before you arrive — it comes down to gap-close discipline, so it's skill. |
| Two+ items | Kennen | He out-scales you: move-speed kite plus Mark-of-the-Storm stun and R burst hit you from a range your Vital true damage can't touch — he owns the two-item fight. |
Levels 1-3 are yours and you have to cash them in — this is the only stretch where Kennen can't kite you and can't stun you yet. Walk up behind minions, eat one Q (Thundering Shuriken) if you must, and look for the level 2-3 spike where Q-Vital plus E (Bladework) lets you all-in: Lunge in, strike the Vital for % max-HP true damage and the heal/MS burst, and the Bladework crit chunks him before his energy poke means anything. Do NOT trade auto-for-auto at range — his Q poke out-chips you if you just stand there. Force the gap-close on his Q cooldown.
