Aatrox is weak at levels 1-2 and so is my extended trade until my combo is online, so this opens even. The whole early game is Riposte (W): hold it for his sweetspot Q3 knockup or his W chain-pull, because parrying either immobilizing cast turns the return into a stun and lets me chain Q-Vital procs while his on-hit passive heal is doing nothing. Do not burn W on his outer-edge Q pokes — bait the empowered cast, then E in for the slow-then-guaranteed-crit autos to proc the Vital. Last-hit at Q range and never stand in his Q3 sweetspot line while my parry is down.
