How to win the jungle race as Morgana against Sejuani · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Morgana's seat: the race windows this plan plays for against Sejuani.
| Stage | Read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 Clear | Respect Sejuani | At level 1 this window belongs to Sejuani, not Morgana: the Arctic Assault knock-up into a Permafrost stun chains you into her gank follow-up. She can't duel without the stun chain — dodge the Q engage and trade freely. Skip the level-1 crossing and bank tempo on the opposite side of the map. |
| Level 2 Skirmish | Respect Sejuani | The Arctic Assault knock-up into a Permafrost stun chains you into her gank follow-up — Morgana has no answer to that at level 2. She can't duel without the stun chain — dodge the Q engage and trade freely, and answer their pressure cross-map instead of contesting it head-on. |
| Level 3 Route | Respect Sejuani | The window at the opening scuttle is theirs: the Arctic Assault knock-up into a Permafrost stun chains you into her gank follow-up. She can't duel without the stun chain — dodge the Q engage and trade freely. Give up the level-3 river fight and give up the first scuttle rather than the kill. |
| Levels 4-5 Macro | Respect Sejuani — Path Opposite | You lose the 4-5 duel. She uses 4-5 to set up Permafrost ganks with a laner, since her own damage is not the threat — so let them have that half of the map and cash the other half faster. |
| Level 6 Breakpoint | Respect Sejuani's R | A cross-map Glacial Prison stun starts a fight you cannot refuse — Morgana loses the straight post-6 duel. The projectile is dodgeable — strafe the cast and her engage evaporates, and shift your pressure to the side of the map Glacial Prison is not on. |
| First Item Spike | Liandry's / Zhonya's | First items transform your pool and shackles into real kill pressure while the hourglass makes your engage survivable. Your camp economy accelerates past Sejuani's and your pick game becomes lane-altering. Force fights at pits where your W floors the contest space. Sejuani's first item is a durability spike — she does not start killing you, she starts being impossible to remove. |
| 2+ Items Scaling | Respect Sejuani Late — End Early | You do not want the late 1v1 here. She is unkillable frontline with a cross-map stun that starts every fight — so trade the map instead, and keep every fight a numbers fight. |
Start at the buff adjacent to raptors or krugs — your W wants multi-monster camps immediately. Track Sejuani's entry side to place your binding-escape route; your clear speed buys you the map's safest farm pattern. Sejuani clears steadily with Winter's Wrath and Fury of the North keeps her health high, so she paths without recalling.

Sejuani pressures 6 of the 7 windows in this race — survive the early game and scale into your windows.
Not exactly — Sejuani pressures 6 of the 7 windows, so Morgana is playing catch-up and has to lean on the map.
