How to win the jungle race as Morgana against Bel'Veth · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Morgana's seat: the race windows this plan plays for against Bel'Veth.
| Stage | Read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 Clear | Danger — Avoid Bel'Veth | Hard no-contest for Morgana at level 1: Void Surge dashes make their trades untouchable against slower kits, and true-damage Lavender stacks and quadruple dashes out-scale every extra second of a fight. Trade in short bursts only — extended fights feed her passive stacks. Path opposite, ward your entrances, and let the clock carry you to your own spike. |
| Level 2 Skirmish | Danger — Avoid Bel'Veth | True-damage Lavender stacks and quadruple dashes out-scale every extra second of a fight. Above and Below's knock-up sets up a free trade window on cooldown on top of that, so level 2 is a straight stat check Morgana loses — trade in short bursts only — extended fights feed her passive stacks, and give the river vision-line respect. |
| Level 3 Route | Danger — Avoid Bel'Veth | Bel'Veth out-classes you at the opening scuttle — all four dash directions plus the W knock-up make the extended duel theirs, and true-damage Lavender stacks and quadruple dashes out-scale every extra second of a fight. Give up the level-3 river fight, full-clear away from them, and trade map pressure instead of health. |
| Levels 4-5 Macro | Danger — Avoid Bel'Veth | Bel'Veth owns 4-5 outright. Void Surge lets her cross the map between camps, so 4-5 is spent stacking Death in Lavender off both jungles, so treat every crossing as theirs and take the camps they are furthest from. |
| Level 6 Breakpoint | Danger — Bel'Veth's R | True-form Bel'Veth out-duels everything once she banks a Void coral. At this breakpoint Morgana simply does not duel Bel'Veth — deny the coral procs — fight her before the transformation, not after, trade objectives cross-map, and let item spikes re-open the matchup. |
| First Item Spike | Liandry's / Zhonya's | First items transform your pool and shackles into real kill pressure while the hourglass makes your engage survivable. Your camp economy accelerates past Bel'Veth's and your pick game becomes lane-altering. Force fights at pits where your W floors the contest space. Bel'Veth's first item turns the dash chain into sustained damage — she stops trading and starts running people down. |
| 2+ Items Scaling | Danger — Bel'Veth Outscales | The clock is your enemy. She is a true-form auto-attacker who out-duels almost anything with room to dash, so close the game on the first two objectives you actually win. |
Start at the buff adjacent to raptors or krugs — your W wants multi-monster camps immediately. Track Bel'Veth's entry side to place your binding-escape route; your clear speed buys you the map's safest farm pattern. Bel'Veth clears fast and lopsided — the four Void Surge directions let her leave a camp half-done and arrive somewhere she should not be.

Not exactly — Bel'Veth pressures 6 of the 7 windows, so Morgana is playing catch-up and has to lean on the map.
