How to win lane as Singed against Yorick · 53.09% win rate (1,181 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Proxy + kite — his ghouls catch you, fling him off Maiden.
Track: Yorick's W — Dark Procession (20–12s cooldown). Traps you for ghouls. Keep moving.
Read from Singed's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Yorick.
This is Singed's own plan; across 1,181 pooled games the lane is leaning Singed.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Yorick | Yorick spawns ghouls off the first wave and Mourning Mist slows you, shreds armour and speeds his Walkers at you — you cannot kite that yet, so concede and proxy. |
| Level 2 | Yorick | Dark Procession walls you mid-retreat on a 20s cooldown and Last Rites resets his auto every 6s while healing him — avoid all-ins until Mega Adhesive is up. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Full kit online but Yorick's ghoul swarm still outnumbers your damage; trade by running Poison Trail through his minions and ghouls, not through Yorick himself. |
| Levels 4-5 | Singed | Proxy under his tower forces Yorick to choose between his wave and chasing you — his ghouls waste on your turret while you bank gold and deny graves stacks. |
| Level 6 | Singed | Insanity Potion's movement speed and magic resist let you outrun the ghoul swarm and fling Yorick away from Maiden — this is your lane-flip window. |
| First item | Singed | Rylai's turns every Poison Trail pass into a slow that pins Yorick out of Dark Procession range — force the 1v1 here while he still can't sustain through your kite. |
| Two+ items | Yorick | Maiden makes Yorick's attacks on her target hit harder and raises Walkers from the dead — proxy and split rather than duel; map pressure wins the game, not the 1v1. |
You lose levels 1-2 outright — Last Rites is a 6-second auto-reset that heals him and digs the grave every Walker comes from, so his burst and his sustain are the same button. Don't contest the wave early: proxy under his tower or behind his wave to deny him graves. The moment Mourning Mist marks you, disengage hard — it shreds your armour, slows you, and speeds every Walker toward you. Dark Procession then walls the exit. If forced to trade, bait him into your poison cloud and run perpendicular so his ghouls overshoot; even at level 3 with Mega Adhesive you are buying time, not winning the prolonged fight. Take the CS you can reach from trail range and let the wave push at you.

Singed, slightly — a 53.09% win rate edge over 1,181 games; execution can flip it.
Mostly — Singed has a small statistical edge (53.09% win rate), but execution decides this lane far more than the pick does.
Not a hard counter — Singed has a slight edge (53.09% win rate), and play quality decides the rest.
Singed takes Conqueror on the Sorcery tree with Manaflow Band, Transcendence and Scorch, and Inspiration secondary (Biscuit Delivery and Cosmic Insight) vs Yorick.
Start Doran's Ring + 2 Health Potions and back for Oblivion Orb (≈800g) — cuts his healing. Build Rylai's Crystal Scepter (perma-slow poison) first, then Riftmaker / Liandry's, with Sorcerer's Shoes.
