At level 1 Karma simply out-ranges you — she can RQ poke your walks forward and you have only a single Q that requires melee proximity to set up anything. Do not chase her E move-speed buff; last-hit at maximum Q distance and eat as little chip as possible. Level 2 gives you W's root threat, which is the first thing that makes her nervous: she must respect that if you ever land W, an empowered Q follows immediately and she has no dash to escape it. The trade you are farming toward is W-root into empowered Q while she is standing inside a Flux bounce — but do not force it until level 3 when E is live and her shield is on cooldown.
