How to win lane as Olaf against Wukong · 49.93% win rate over 1,494 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Olaf | No clone and only one rank of Q armor-shred yet, so your Q-slow-into-auto and passive ramp win first contact clean. |
| Level 2 | Olaf | Your level 2 Q plus E lands a guaranteed true-damage burst before his clone or shred can answer it. |
| Level 3 | Olaf | Q-E-W chains a slow and true damage he cannot trade back while his only reset is a short E dash. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | His W clone and Q armor-shred come online and start blunting your autos, leveling the short trades out. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | Ragnarok cleanses his R spin knockup so neither of you cleanly wins the all-in, but you remove his best tool. |
| First item | Even / skill | Your Black Cleaver and Bramble peak matches his first-item clone spike, keeping the lane a coinflip. |
| Two+ items | Wukong | His stacked armor, clone burst and R knockup outscale your flat true damage once he hits 2+ items. |
Wukong has no clone yet and his Q armor-shred is single-rank, so the first three levels are yours. Land Q to slow him, walk up, and weave an E true-damage hit the moment he commits to a creep or steps for a trade. Watch his E dash range, that is his only reset tool early, and do not waste your Q on a clone he has not made yet. If he greeds a last hit at melee range, your level 2-3 Q-E-W is a chunk he simply cannot trade back.
