Cho'Gath is a slow, immobile melee with no escape, which is exactly your prey early. Hit Q on him and pick the axe back up to refund the cooldown so the slow never drops, then walk him down with autos as your passive ramps. His only answers are the Q knockup and W silence, so step in AFTER you bait those, then E him for guaranteed true damage he cannot itemize against this early.
