Ambessa wants to weave her dash combo around your Undertow (Q), so don't waste the axe on a panic throw — lead with it to land the slow, then walk up and pick it back up to keep her stuck. Once she's slowed, your Reckless Swing (E) true damage cuts straight through her bruiser stats and she can't dash out of a slow she's already eating. At Levels 2-3 you out-burst her hard; just respect that her W combo hits back if you flail in without the slow landing first.
