Quinn just out-ranges you here and there's no hiding it. Her E vault knocks you back and blinds your autos the instant you step up, and her Harrier passive lets her dance out of any E (Tangle-Barbs) you sling — your root only matters if it lands, and at Levels 1-3 you can't get close enough to thread it. Last-hit with the tip of Q (Blooming Burst), eat the poke, and do not chase autos into her blind. Your only trade is a max-range E that clips her, but she'll usually sidestep it.
