How to win lane as Master Yi against Yone · 56.26% win rate (599 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Master Yi's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Yone.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Yone | Yone's Q poke and Mortal Steel mobility beat your bare level-1 kit. |
| Level 2 | Yone | At 2 his dash-poke still out-harasses your single Alpha Strike. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Level 3 evens out as your resets and second Q point arrive. |
| Levels 4-5 | Master Yi | By 4-5 your ramping attack speed and resets out-trade his shield. |
| Level 6 | Master Yi | At 6 you Alpha Strike out of his knockups and out-DPS his rotation. |
| First item | Master Yi | First item you burn his W shield and win every extended trade. |
| Two+ items | Master Yi | Late your Highlander resets shred a squishy Yone with no escape. |
Yone edges the first two levels: his Q poke and Mortal Steel dash let him harass while your only tool is Alpha Strike, so farm and avoid extended melee trades until you have your resets.
