How to win lane as Yone against Master Yi · 43.74% win rate (599 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Yone's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Master Yi.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Yone | Q poke and Mortal Steel mobility beat his bare level-1 kit. |
| Level 2 | Yone | At 2 your dash-poke still out-harasses his single Alpha Strike. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Level 3 evens out as his resets and second Q point arrive. |
| Levels 4-5 | Master Yi | By 4-5 his ramping attack speed and resets out-trade your shield. |
| Level 6 | Master Yi | At 6 Highlander's 85s of speed lets him out-DPS your whole rotation. |
| First item | Master Yi | First item he burns your W shield and wins every extended trade. |
| Two+ items | Master Yi | Late, his Highlander resets shred a squishy Yone with no escape left. |
Levels 1-2 you bully him freely - Q Mortal Steel poke and dash tempo out-harass a kit that has one Alpha Strike and nothing else - but treat it like a closing window, not a lane state: chip him, zone him off CS, and bank every advantage now because level 3 starts his engine and it never turns off.
