Levels 2-3 are the only part of this lane that's mine, so I have to cash them hard. At 2 my Piercing Light plus a Lightslinger double-tap out-damages a low-crit Tryndamere with no Fury, and at 3 I add Ardent Blaze to mark him and proc the speed so I can dance in and out of trades he can't answer. Shove him in and chunk him on every step-up. What I never do is sit in a prolonged auto-war — his spin crits scale with Fury and crit chance, and the longer the fight runs the more his sustain eats my poke.
