My cannon-form Shock Blast fired through the Acceleration Gate out-ranges everything Morde has, and with no Indestructible banked and his Darkness Rise aura not yet ramped he just eats the chip — gate-Q his step-ups and build a health lead for plates. The danger is level 3: the second he has Obliterate plus Indestructible plus Death's Grasp, his E drags me off the gate and into his Q, and once Darkness Rise is grinding me his shield-heal out-trades my poke. So poke from max range, never stand inside his E pull, and keep hammer-form Thundering Blow up to knock him back if he commits.
