Neeko's only teeth pre-3 are her Q (Blooming Burst) bounce-poke and her E (Tangle-Barbs) root — if that root lands while you have no stun, she gets free Q stacks on you. So last-hit with the reach of Bladesurge, keep your dash for resets rather than trades, and do NOT facecheck her into a root. The good news: she's a squishy pick-mage with no sustained trade pattern, so as long as you sidestep the root her Q chip can't kill you. Hold for level 3 and don't waste your E breaking out of the root when you'll want it for the kill.
