Trundle's whole early game is his Q bite — it steals attack damage and heals him, but it's point-blank and on a cooldown. Sit at max Q range and chunk him with the center column of Winds of War, where it hits hardest; don't walk into his auto range and feed him a free bite. At Levels 2-3, once you have E and W, punish his step-up: E-knockup through him as he commits to a last-hit, then release Shield of Durand to taunt and land a Q sweetspot before his sustain matters. Mind your mana — you are the more mana-hungry of the two and his bite refunds his trades.
