How to win lane as Galio against Quinn · 28.57% win rate over 14 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Quinn | Quinn's Q-blind nearsights you and her Harrier-marked autos deny your last-hits and your Colossal Smash empowered auto while you have only one ability and no engage. |
| Level 2 | Quinn | Her Heightened Senses move speed (after a Harrier proc) and her E-Vault poke let her trade freely before your Q tornado and W are both online. |
| Level 3 | Quinn | Even with Q-W-E up, your E-Justice Punch has a fixed range and windup she Vaults or out-paces, so your taunt-knockup combo whiffs and her Vault can interrupt the dash outright. |
| Levels 4-5 | Quinn | She kites your short engage range all lane and your magic-amplified W does nothing against her fully physical Harrier autos and Vault. |
| Level 6 | Galio | Hero's Entrance is your one spike: a global taunt-knockup teamfight drop that her roam-only Behind Enemy Lines cannot match, so you cash it in on another lane. |
| First item | Quinn | Her lethality Harrier-and-blind poke pushes you out of XP range while you have no answer to a ranged physical kiter. |
| Two+ items | Quinn | She out-scales this lane on poke and roams with map-wide move speed while your tankiness plateaus and your shield never gets the AP commitment it needs to matter. |
Quinn owns levels 1-3 and you have to accept it. Her Q (Blinding Assault) nearsights you, collapsing your vision and blanking your Colossal Smash empowered auto, while her Harrier passive marks you for heavy bonus auto damage on every trade. Her E (Vault) dashes in, knocks you back, and slows, and after a Harrier proc her W (Heightened Senses) hands her the attack and move speed to walk out of any E-Justice Punch you throw; your dash has a fixed distance and a windup she just sidesteps, and her own Vault can even interrupt your E mid-flight. Don't walk into the wave to last-hit when her Q is up; tag minions with the edge of your Q-Winds of War tornado from max range instead. The one trap to bait: if she Vaults onto you at level 3, eat the knockback and instantly W-Shield of Durand release for the taunt, then E-knockup, but most good Quinns Vault out the second the channel starts.
