Poppy's whole answer to me is W (Steadfast Presence) — once it's up, my Q Lunge gets stopped mid-dash and my Vital-chaining falls apart, so I can't just E-Q on top of her. Level 1 is even since she needs that W online first, so I want to walk up and land an early Q to pop a Vital before she has the tool to stop me — that's a free chunk plus the heal and move speed. Once she has W, I bait it: feint a step-in, let her pop Steadfast Presence, then commit my real E-Q while it's on cooldown. Do not throw a raw Lunge into a standing Poppy; it just gets stopped and I eat her Q knockup.
