Bait his Q poke, then Lunge in on the Vital side; your passive heal makes his early all-ins unprofitable. Hold Riposte for actual damage — it blocks his burst and slows him, but note it will NOT stun him, since Lucian has no immobilizing ability to parry. Don't chase past the minion line into Ardent Blaze range, that's where his move-speed kite starts.
