How to win lane as Fiora against Dr. Mundo · 53.46% win rate over 434 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Fiora | Mundo is one of the weakest level-1s with no Maximum Dosage yet, while Fiora owns the early lane — sidestep his Q cleaver and the marked Vital punishes him for free. |
| Level 2 | Even / skill | Bladework's guaranteed crit and slow land Vital true damage that his Q self-heal and passive regen only partly offset, but he can soak it and farm — a real trade edge, not a kill. |
| Level 3 | Even / skill | Fiora out-trades him with chained Lunges refunded off Vital procs, though his grey-health regen keeps him in lane — even tempo, her slight edge. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Low-cooldown Lunges keep chunking his HP faster than he heals, but he has no immobilizing CC to bait into a Riposte stun and simply survives to scale — skill matchup. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | Grand Challenge and the heal/MS zone swing the all-in her way, yet his passive regen means it is a window, not a guaranteed kill — even. |
| First item | Even / skill | Profane Hydra plus Vital true damage shreds his stacked HP, but he is one item from Maximum Dosage out-healing her — a knife's edge. |
| Two+ items | Dr. Mundo | Once Mundo has two tank items and Maximum Dosage, his heal-per-second out-paces her DPS and he becomes unkillable in lane — he owns this window, so splitpush instead. |
Mundo is one of the weakest early laners in the game and Fiora is one of the strongest — exploit it now. His Q cleaver is a skillshot that costs him health to throw and misses if you sidestep, so dodge it, then walk up and strike the marked Vital. By level 2-3 your Bladework combo (slow on the first strike, guaranteed crit on the second, both popping Vitals) carves a real chunk of his bar, and the Vital damage lands as TRUE damage that his Q self-heal and passive regen only partly offset. Don't waste Riposte on his Q cleaver — it only slows, and W only returns a stun if you parry an immobilizing effect (stun/root/knockup/taunt), so save it and just trade with autos and Lunges.
