He can charge Q for a knockup that interrupts your E and zones you off the wave, and his E is a shield-breaking poke that pops your Passive before you get value from it — so farm safe and never walk into the charged Q ring. Once you hit 3 with Q and a point in E the lane evens out: his charged Q is slow and telegraphed, so dodge it (walk out of the ring or E through it), then punish the long recovery with E-W-Q and re-cast Q for the true-damage second hit. Bait or wait out his E so your Passive shield isn't broken before the trade.
