Darius is the strongest melee level-1 in the game, but he has no gap-closer until 3 — so at 1 and 2 you abuse that. Throw Q out and back for free chip, weave your second-shot passive when he steps up to last-hit, and land your third passive stack for the magic burst plus the shield it gives you against champions. The one rule: do NOT eat an Apprehend (E) once he has it — his pull onto the Decimate inner blade plus stacking Hemorrhage is a third of your bar, and your only escape, Heroic Swing, needs a wall to hook into. Hold your range, last-hit at Q distance, and make him whiff the pull.
