This is an even, skill-expressive lane early: Sylas out-sustains you with W and pokes with his double Q, but he's squishy and punishable when W is down. Manage the wave and pick your trade windows around his cooldowns rather than swinging freely. Sylas heals massively off his W (Kingslayer) and pokes with the double Q (Chain Lash), so short trades favor him; only commit when his W is on cooldown, and use minions to body-block the second Q detonation.
