How to win the jungle race as Xin Zhao against Fiddlesticks · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Read from Xin Zhao's seat: the race windows this plan plays for against Fiddlesticks.
| Stage | Read | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 Clear | Xin Zhao Dominant | Three Talon Strike's knock-up plus passive healing wins the first buff-pit duel. Effigy bluffs and Bountiful Harvest keep their clear healthy, and before either of you has a second camp down that is not an answer. Take the level-1 crossing and make Fiddlesticks path away from the camps you want. |
| Level 2 Skirmish | Xin Zhao Dominant | Wind Becomes Lightning (W) challenge poke starts trades you finish for free. There is no version of this Fiddlesticks wins right now — Terrify plus the Harvest drain only trades okay if they fully commit into them, and that folds on the second camp. Show on their side of the river and take the second buff and the tempo that comes with it. |
| Level 3 Route | Xin Zhao Dominant | The full knock-up combo with W slow is among the top three level-3 duels. Later in the game this bites, because Terrify plus a full Bountiful Harvest channel drains you dry if you commit into him. But as the first scuttle timer lands none of it is online, so take the level-3 river fight and tax every camp Fiddlesticks concedes. |
| Levels 4-5 Macro | Xin Zhao Favoured — Take Duels | The 4-5 window is yours if you pick it: he farms 4-5 for Crowstorm, and the effigy is worth more as fake vision than as a fight. Track that pattern, arrive one camp early, and take the fight before the follow-up shows. |
| Level 6 Breakpoint | Even Ult Window | Neither ultimate cleanly beats the other — a Crowstorm from unwarded fog erases half your HP before you can turn, but Crescent Guard makes the 1v1 literal — outside help is deleted from your duel. The breakpoint goes to whoever reaches it first with an objective on the map. |
| First Item Spike | Sundered Sky / Eclipse Spike | Completing your core item triggers a massive damage, health, and sustain multiplier that completely overpowers traditional brawlers or isolated targets. Fiddlesticks' first item turns the drain and the fear into a real health bar of damage rather than a delay. |
| 2+ Items Scaling | Danger — Fiddlesticks Outscales | The clock is your enemy. A Crowstorm from fog ends a whole fight before anyone turns to face it, so close the game on the first two objectives you actually win. |
Start your clear at the Red Buff camp utilizing your Q resets and passive to maximize early clear speed and health. Fiddlesticks clears safely off Bountiful Harvest and effigies, and his path is built around never being where you look.
