How to win lane as Sivir against Vayne · 47.66% win rate (6,194 Emerald+ games, lolalytics, sampled July 2026) · Matchup data reviewed on patch 26.15
Her curve needs waves you intend to delete — shove the metronome, shield the all-in, and out-tempo the scaling.
Track: Vayne's E — Condemn (20–12s cooldown). Wall-stuns you — never fight her with terrain at your back.
Read from Sivir's seat: which stage windows this plan plays for against Vayne.
This is Sivir's own plan; across 6,194 pooled games the lane is leaning Vayne.
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Sivir | You outrange Vayne's auto-only early with Q and W while she's a weak level-1. |
| Level 2 | Sivir | Ricochet lets you cleave the wave and poke her whenever she Tumbles to CS. |
| Level 3 | Sivir | Your range and wave control keep her pinned off farm through level 3. |
| Levels 4-5 | Sivir | She still can't trade into your poke and has no reset value at levels 4-5. |
| Level 6 | Sivir | Final Hour plus Spell Shield give you the cleanest all-in window at 6. |
| First item | Vayne | Kraken Slayer and three-stack Silver Bolts true damage let Vayne out-DPS you after one item. |
| Two+ items | Vayne | Two-item Guinsoo Vayne beats you in any sustained duel with invisibility repositioning. |
You own levels 1-3 outright: Boomerang Blade and Ricochet outrange her auto-only harass, and Vayne is among the weakest early ADCs, so every Tumble she makes to last-hit is a free Q on her. Few carries are weaker in the opening minutes, and none of her tools reach you, so push every wave and tax each tumble she needs for a minion. Chip her through the creeps with the Boomerang. Fight away from the side walls and cash the crash into a plate rather than a chase under tower.
