How to win lane as Singed against Teemo · 49% win rate over 1,245 Emerald+ games · Updated 2026-07-27
| Stage | Favoured | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | Teemo | Teemo's E poison plus ranged autos deal free damage at level 1; Poison Trail alone cannot retaliate from range and your only trade option is walking into Blinding Dart. |
| Level 2 | Teemo | Blinding Dart (Q) comes up every 7 seconds and he will land it the moment you step toward him — your auto-attack damage drops to zero and he pokes freely. |
| Level 3 | Teemo | Mega Adhesive (W) is online but he has enough passive move speed to dodge a standalone throw; without a Rylai's slow he can walk out before Fling connects. |
| Levels 4-5 | Even / skill | Proxying is your strongest tool here — run behind his wave to force a decision between CS and pressuring you, while staying outside Blinding Dart range entirely. |
| Level 6 | Even / skill | Insanity Potion's movement speed bonus is the first moment you can credibly close on him; with W-goo cutting his escape you have a real kill threat if he is caught in the open. |
| First item | Singed | Rylai's Crystal Scepter makes every step through your Poison Trail a permanent slow — he cannot exit the cloud on foot and the W-then-Fling combination locks him in for a full attrition trade. |
| Two+ items | Even / skill | He wins any late extended shroom war through map denial, but the straight 1v1 is yours with Rylai's active — close the game or take objectives rather than sitting in a shroomed side lane. |
At level 1 you have nothing but Poison Trail and he has a ranged auto plus E poison ticking on you from outside the cloud — accept this. Stand back, last-hit with your trail, and do not walk up into Blinding Dart range to trade because he wins any exchange where your autos are offline. The key early survival rule is that his blind only stops autos and on-hits, not your poison aura itself, so every second he is standing in your cloud he is taking damage even when you are blinded. Level 2 adds Fling but he has too much move speed from his passive to get caught unless he overextends; level 3 Mega Adhesive gives you your first real threat — a W-then-E combination can pin him in the goo, but he can see it coming and will back off the moment you throw it.
