At Level 1 this is pure spacing — Nautilus's passive roots you on every auto he lands, and if you walk up to stack Frost he just hits you twice and you are already rooted with no stun ready to answer. Stay at tip-of-W range, apply ice shards with the first strike, and back off before he can proc the root. At Level 2 you get Q, but be careful: his Q hook travels through your Q charge path and will interrupt your dash and root you at the spot you landed — do not charge directly at him. Level 3 is the first window to trade: Q at a slight angle so he has to turn his hook, land both W strikes to fill the Frost bar, then E stun before he can retaliate with his own E slow. You are not killing him here, but you win the short trade if you initiate cleanly.
