Favour timeline — who owns each window

StageFavouredWhy
Level 1RumbleAkali pre-6 without shroud is just a melee AP bruiser walking into your Flamespitter cone — level 1 you win every trade she is willing to take.
Level 2RumbleDouble Electro-Harpoon slows pin her in Flamespitter range and she has no reliable escape before shroud comes up — short trades strongly favour you.
Level 3RumbleFull kit online and shroud is still 20+ seconds long at low rank; Q-E-E into sustained Danger Zone Flamespitter burns half her HP before she can vanish.
Levels 4-5Even / skillBoth kits are fully online but Akali's shroud and energy bar make trades genuinely interactive — respect the vanish and do not over-commit into thin air.
Level 6AkaliPerfect Execution's two-part dash plus any completed AP item gives Akali the burst to blow through Scrap Shield and kill an immobile Rumble in one rotation.
First itemAkaliHextech Rocketbelt or Shadowflame on top of Perfect Execution means she can gap-close through your W and one-shot before The Equalizer charges — avoid the isolated 1v1.
Two+ itemsRumbleYour teamfight ultimate outvalues her single-target burst in any grouped fight; a well-placed Equalizer wall wins skirmishes she cannot shroud her entire team out of.

Early game (levels 1–5)

Akali pre-6 is a melee champion with no real escape on a long shroud cooldown, and Flamespitter punishes exactly that. Walk at her at level 1 — your Q shreds anyone who must stand in it, and she cannot shroud without burning a 25-second cooldown she cannot afford. At level 2, open every trade with Q into the double Electro-Harpoon: the slow pins her in the cone, she takes the full channel, and she goes back to base or loses 40% HP. By level 3 she is afraid to walk up for CS. Shove the wave, take plates, and keep her in a freeze cycle — every time she last-hits she eats a Danger Zone Q.
