Akali pre-6 is a melee champion with no real escape on a long shroud cooldown, and Flamespitter punishes exactly that. Walk at her at level 1 — your Q shreds anyone who must stand in it, and she cannot shroud without burning a 25-second cooldown she cannot afford. At level 2, open every trade with Q into the double Electro-Harpoon: the slow pins her in the cone, she takes the full channel, and she goes back to base or loses 40% HP. By level 3 she is afraid to walk up for CS. Shove the wave, take plates, and keep her in a freeze cycle — every time she last-hits she eats a Danger Zone Q.
