Garen's Q silence is a hard counter to your kit at levels one through three — if he lands it mid Q-chain it cancels the cast, strips your passive charge, and he disengages while his passive regen erases whatever you dealt. If you burn E to trade and he pops W immediately, your burst window shrinks to almost nothing — his damage reduction eats your combo and you lose the trade.
